Micki & Chelsea teamed up in 2011 when they opened Northwest Birth Assistants and taught the first Birth Assistant Basics Course in Kirkland, WA. Since then they have taught many classes around the US. They were the first training program for Birth Assistants on the west coast and have taught more classes than any other program around. Together, they have attended over 500+ births, work for a busy birth center and work with local legislative regarding Birth Assistant laws. They bring passion to the classroom and love to teach together! Their vision is to create a learning environment where students can learn the skills and knowledge to attend births globally!
